AITC Lesson Overviews
We are dedicated to educating elementary students, Kindergarten-Fifth Grade, about agriculture and how it impacts their daily lives. Take a look below at our current lesson offerings, and use the link at the bottom to register for a lesson!
To request resources or a classroom visit, visit the link below to fill out a form and our Ag Literacy Coordinator will reach out to you to schedule a date and time!
Lesson Overviews/Options:
Kindergarten-First: All About Apples or Pumpkins
Second: Seeds
Third: Livestock Lessons - Choose from:
Poultry, Dairy, Beef, Pigs
Fourth: Specialty Crops Through the Seasons
Fifth: Soil or Agricultural Careers
Attention Fourth Grade Teachers!
We are looking for teachers who would be interested in hosting our Ag Literacy Coordinator for the upcoming school year, once a month. Each month, our coordinator would visit your classroom to teach on a different agricultural topic, accompanied by a fun activity! When prompted in the form (if selecting a fourth-grade lesson) let us know if you would be interested in signing up for the entire school year, rather than a single lesson.
