    • Ag Expo - fourth grade classes get to experience how pizza is made and the ag behind it!

    • Pet-a-Calf - students will have the opportunity to interact with a baby calf

  • ☀️Summer

    • Summer Ag Institute (SAI) - professional development opportunities for teachers to learn how to incorporate agriculture into their classroom (Summer 2027)

    • Will County Fair - August 26th-30th, 2026

    • Ag Olympics - July 11th, 2026

    • Summer Day Camp - 2 to 3 days each summer for kids 1st-5th grade covering a specific ag topic

  • 🍂Fall

    • Food Drive - to support WCFB Foundation and AITC

    • Touch-a-Tractor - students will be able to interact with a farmer and get up-close and personal with a tractor

Contests

Bookmark Decorating Contest - Current Contest Form (deadline September 28th, 2026)

  • open to K-5 classrooms or any student in Will County

  • ties into a specific theme

  • open every three months

  • Winner will receive:

    • Free ice cream vouchers or gift cards (exact prize specified on each Contest Form

    • Their bookmark will be printed and distributed with the next three month’s AITC lessons, as well as displayed on our website and social media
